Abstract
Maģistra darba mērķis ir noskaidrot Aģes upes lejteces ekoloģisko kvalitāti. Darba ietvaros veikti upes veģetācijas un ķīmiskā sastāva pētījumi 6 Aģes upes posmos, kuri ietilpst riska ūdensobjektā G261SP „Mazupīte – grīva”; novērtēta posmu ekoloģiskā kvalitāte, izmantojot trofijas indeksus un ūdens ķīmisko analīžu rādītājus. Noteikti arī makrofītu augšanu ietekmējošie vides faktori. Iegūtie rezultāti parāda, ka pēc makrofītu trofijas indeksiem Aģes upes lejteces ekoloģiskā kvalitāte ir labāka nekā pēc ķīmiskā stāvokļa. Kopumā lejteces ekoloģiskā kvalitāte ir slikta.
The aim of the Master thesis is to investigate the ecological quality of the River Aģe lower reaches. 6 river stretches of Aģe was investigated, which are included in a water body at risk G261SP from the River Mazupīte up to the mouth; ecological quality was evaluated using trophic indices and results of water chemical analyses; environmental variables were also defined. The results showed that the ecological quality valued by trophic indices is better than the one valued by water chemical state. In general the ecological quality of the River Aģe lower reaches is poor.
