Baltijas jūras ostu salīdzinošs novērtējums

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir Baltijas jūras ostu salīdzinošs novērtējums. Darbs sastāv no ievada, četrām lielām nodaļām, secinājumiem un priekšlikumiem. Darba mērķis ir izanalizēt piecas Baltijas jūras reģiona ostas pēc kravas apgrozījuma, pēc ostu specializācijas (kravu veidi), pasažieru skaita, noteikt līderus, kā arī noteikt problēmas katrai no ostām un dot priekšlikumus to risināšanai. Pašlaik līderis kravu apgrozībā ir Tallinas osta, tomēr eksperti prognozē, ka Klaipēdas osta gada beigās spēs pārkraut lielāku kravu apjomu nekā Tallinas ostā. Šim divām ostām ir pozitīvas izmaiņas kravu apgrozībā, kad Latvijas ostā apgrozījums samazinājās. Tomēr katra no ostām sastopās ar dažādām problēmam.

The comparative assessment of the ports of the Baltic Sea is discussed in this bachelor thesis. The work consists of the introduction, four major sections, conclusion and suggestions. The volume of work is 66 pages; 36 tables, 6 pictures and 3 attachments were added to this thesis as well. The theoretical part consists of ports’ profiles, the insight into their operation. This part includes the port description, cargo characteristics and cargo turnover. In practical part, the ports mutual comparison of the Baltic Sea region is discussed as well as development and the turnover. Not only cargo comparison between the ports is analyzed in this part of the work, but also the port problems are raised and analyzed as well as the development opportunities, and the SWOT analysis for three ports of Latvia has been made. While writing there have been used materials and knowledge gained during the studying process. To fulfill the task the information summary has been made as well as statistical data summary and linear trend method of analyzing was used.
