Sieviešu tēli lugās “Romeo un Džuljeta” un “Pūt, vējiņi!”

Abstract

Šī pētījuma galvenais temats ir sievietes tēla atspoguļojums literatūrā. Šīs pētījuma mērķis ir apskatīt un salīdzināt dažādus iespējamos veidus kā tiek atspoguļotas sievietes tādās lugās kā - Romeo un Džuljeta un Pūt, vējiņi! Vispirms tika pētīti Šekspīra un Raiņa iespējamie iedvesmas avoti iepriekšminētajām lugām. Atklājās, ka, atšķirībā no senākajiem darbiem, Rainis un Šekspīrs sieviešu tēliem piešķīruši vienas no galvenajām lomām. Lielākoties sievietes vēsturiski ieņēmušas mazsvarīgu lomu gan sabiedrībā, gan literatūrā. Pielietojot kritisko diskursa analīzi un salīdzinošo analīzi, noskaidrojās, ka abās lugās ir atspoguļoti tēli, kas atbilst ideālas sievietes standartiem (Lēdija Kapuleti, Lēdija Monteki, aukles) un sieviešu tēli, kas nepakļaujas normām, piemēram, spēcīgā Māte un aktīvā, nepadevīgā Džuljeta. Baibas tēls šajā ziņā atšķiras, jo viņai piemīt gan šķīsta sievišķība, gan patstāvība. Ievērojami rakstnieki būdami, Šekspīrs un Rainis ar savām idejām ietekmējuši daudzus.

This research focuses on the depiction of female characters in literature. The goal of this research is to examine and compare the various possible ways women are represented as characters in such plays as Romeo and Juliet and Pūt, vējiņi! Firstly, the main sources of the authors’ inspiration for the plays were studied. It was discovered that Rainis and Shakespeare had opted to position females as protagonists unlike many of their predecessors. Secondly, it was discovered that throughout history women mainly have had an inferior role in society and in literature. With the aid of critical discourse analysis and comparative analysis of both plays it was concluded that there are characters, which comply with the traditional female standard (Lady Capulet, Lady Montague, helpers) and such characters who defy the widely accepted norm, like the powerful Mother and the disobedient and active Juliet. Baiba as a character is different because she is a pillar of femininity, but at the same time active and independent. Shakespeare and Rainis have influenced many with the ideas expressed in their works.
