Abstract
The aim of the study was to find out whether there is a positive relationship between the state of flow and the creativity of musicians. The sample of respondents consists of 53 musicians, of which 26 are professional and 27 - amateur. The Flow State Scale survey and observation protocols according to The Creative Music Relevance Criteria were used for the measurements. The results show that the flow state does not have a statistically significant correlation with creativity, therefore the hypothesis of the study was rejected. It has been proven that professional musicians show higher creativity in musical compositions compared to amateur musicians.
