Informācijas nopludināšanas ētiskie aspekti: "WikiLeaks" darbības analīze

Abstract

Bakalaura darbs „Informācijas nopludināšanas ētiskie aspekti: „WikiLeaks” darbības analīze” ir rakstīts ar mērķi apskatīt organizācijas „WikiLeaks” gadījuma ētiskos aspektus, pētot rakstus un to komentārus Latvijas un Lielbritānijas interneta ziņu portālus „Mail Online” un „Diena.lv”. Teorija tiek izklāstīta divās nodaļās. Pirmajā tiek apskatīts internets un informācijas loma tajā, kā arī „WikiLeaks” mājas lapa. Otrajā nodaļa tiek izklāstīts informācijas regulācijas juridiskais un ētiskais aspekts, apskatot gan juridisko praksi un tās problēmas, gan ētisko pusi, galveno uzsvaru liekot uz „WikiLeaks” gadījuma neviennozīmīgo vērtējumu un dilemmu. Metodoloģijā tiek aprakstīts gadījuma pētījums un tā ietvaros veiktā kontentanalīze un rāmējuma analīze, bet empīriskajā daļā – sniegts apraksts par „WikiLeaks” rāmējumu interneta ziņu portālu rakstos un komentāros. Darba rezultāti atspoguļo dilemmas esamību šajā gadījumā – tiek parādīts, cik atšķirīgi gan ziņu veidotāji, gan komentēji vērtē „WikiLeaks” darbību.

The main aim of the bachelors’ paper “Ethics of information disclosure: analysis of “WikiLeaks”” is to study the ethical aspects of “WikiLeaks” case by researching the evaluation in publications and comments in Latvian and Britain’s internet news sites “Mail Online” and “Diena.lv”. The theory is divided in two parts. First one deals with the internet, the role of information in it and the “WikiLeaks” site. The second part describes the legal and ethical aspects of regulation of information, stressing the ambiguity and dilemma of this case. Methodology gives an insight about case study, content analysis and framing. Empirical part shows the results of the research. The outcome of the research shows the presence of dilemma by displaying how differently “WikiLeaks” is evaluated by the authors of publications and comments.
