Stilistiskie aspekti humora tulkošanā S.Kinselas romānā "Antimājsaimniece"

Abstract

Šajā diplomdarbā ir apskatīti stilistiskie aspekti humora tulkošanā. Šī diplomdarba mērķis ir analizēt stilistiskos aspektus S. Kinselas romānā „The Undomestic Goddess”, D. Borovskas latviešu valodas tulkojumā „Antimājsaimniece” un šī diplomdarba autores tulkojumā. Pētījums ir balstīts uz tulkošanas metožu teorētisko analīzi, un pētījumā ir parādīts, cik liela nozīme tulkojumā ir tulkotāja izdomai, izmantotajiem stilistiskajiem elementiem, humora izjūtai un piemērotajai tulkošanai metodei. Diplomdarbā ir minēti arī vairāki piemēri gan no romāna oriģināla, gan no tā tulkojumiem. Turklāt diplomdarbā ir parādīts, ka publicētajā tulkojumā tika izmantota „vārds-vārdā” tulkošanas metode — brīva tulkojuma zemākās pakāpes metode.

This Diploma Paper is devoted to the stylistic aspects in translation of humour. The goal of this Diploma Paper is to analyze the stylistic aspects used in the novel “The Undomestic Goddess” by S. Kinsella, its Latvian translation “Antimājsaimniece” by D. Borovska, and in the translation suggested by the author of this Paper. The research is based on the theoretical analysis of translation methods and demonstrates the extent to which translated text depends on translator’s imagery, used stylistic devices, sense of humour and applied translation method. The Paper provides also numerous examples from the original novel and its translations. Besides, the Paper demonstrates that the translator of the published translation used a word-for-word translation method — the lowest degree of freedom of translation methods.
