Vēlā dzelzs laikmeta ugunsapbedījumi Zemgalē(9.-12.gs.): izcelsme un nozīme

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā “Vēlā dzelzs laikmeta ugunsapbedījumi Zemgalē ( 9. – 12.gs.): izcelsme un nozīme” tiek pētīti kremācijas apbedījumi Zemgalē, kuri datējas ar vēlo dzelzs laikmetu. Darbā tiek analizētas šādu apbedījumu izcelsmes, attīstības un kultūrvēsturiskās nozīmes iespējamās atškirības, ņemot vērā arheoloģiskos materiālus, kā arī Latvijas vēsturiskās telpas kultūrvēsturisko kontekstu. Galvenais pētījuma mērķis ir izprast kremācijas apbedījumu izplatību un to saistību ar Zemgales iedzīvotāju sociālo struktūru, ticējumiem un dzīvesveidu. Darbā tiek izmantotas gan arheoloģiskās, gan literārās ziņas, lai iegūtu pilnīgāku priekšstatu par šī laikmeta apbedījumu praksi un tās nozīmi vietējā kontekstā.

The bachelor's thesis "Late Iron Age fire burials in Zemgale (9th - 12th centuries): origin and significance" investigates cremation burials in Zemgale, which date back to the Late Iron Age. The work analyzes possible differences in the origin, development and cultural-historical significance of such burials, taking into account archaeological materials, as well as the cultural-historical context of the historical space of Latvia. The main goal of the study is to understand the spread of cremation burials and their relationship with the social structure, beliefs and lifestyle of the inhabitants of Zemgale. The work uses both archaeological and literary sources to gain a more complete picture of the burial practices of this era and its significance in the local context.
