Abstract
Skaņas simulācijas mērķis ir uzlabot skaņas avotu atrašanās vietas noteikšanu, palīdzēt orientēties virtuālā telpā, kā arī padarīt skaņu reālistiskāku. Tiek apskatītas dažādas eksistējošās, praktiskās reāllaika skaņas izplatīšanās simulāciju implementācijas. Tiek arī apskatītas dažādas metodes un paņēmienus, ar kuriem ir iespējams izveidot šādu simulāciju. Tiek izveidots jauns skaņas izplatīšanās simulācijas algoritms un tiek aprakstīta tā implementācija. Šis algoritms ir balstīts uz primārās izlases telpas Metropolisa gaismas transporta algoritmu, savienojumā ar divvirzienu ceļu meklēšanas algoritmu.
The aim of sound propagation simulation is to improve sound source localization, to aid orientation in a virtual space, as well as to make sound more realistic. Several existing and practical real time sound propagation simulation implementations are examined, as well as some methods and techniques, with which it is possible to create such a simulation. A new sound propagation simulation algorithm is proposed and its implementation is described. This algorithm is based on the primary sample space Metropolis light transport algorithm, in conjunction with bidirectional path tracing algorithm.
