Skolotāja kompetence skolēnu sasniegumu vērtēšanā Latvijā

Abstract

Maģistra darba “Skolotāja kompetence skolēnu sasniegumu vērtēšanā Latvijā” autore ir vēlējusies atspoguļot un aktualizēt, ka skolās būtu nepieciešams uzlabot un pievērst papildus uzmanību ne vien skolēnu zināšanām, bet arī skolotāju – it īpaši skolēnu sasniegumu vērtēšanā. Maģistra darba mērķis ir noskaidrot vai skolotājiem piemīt visas nepieciešamās kompetences, lai veiksmīgi un atbilstoši novērtētu skolēnu sasniegumus. Pētījumā ir izmantotās metodes: sistēmiskā literatūras analīze un kvantitatīvs pētījums jeb aptauja skolotājiem. Pētījumā noskaidrots, ka, ne visiem Latvijas skolotājiem kompetence vērtēšanā ir piemērotā līmenī, lai ikdienā pietiekami veiksmīgi varētu pielietot dažādus vērtēšanas veidus un veicinātu skolēnu izaugsmi. Skolotāju kompetenci vērtēšanā nepieciešams uzlabot un to vajadzētu darīt ar intensīvu kursu izstrādi un skolotāju novērtēšanu skolas un valsts līmenī.

The author of the master's thesis "Teacher's competence in evaluating the achievements of students in Latvia" wanted to reflect and update that in schools it is necessary to improve and pay additional attention not only to the knowledge of students, but also to the teachers - especially in the evaluation of the achievements of students. The aim of the master's thesis is to find out whether teachers have all the necessary competences to successfully and appropriately assess the achievements of students. The methods used in the research are systemic literature analysis and quantitative research – survey for teachers. The research has established that not all teachers in Latvia have the competence in assessment at a suitable level to be able to successfully apply various forms of assessment daily and promote the growth of students. The competence of teachers in assessment needs to be improved and this should be done through intensive course development and teacher evaluation at the school and national level.
