Piesārņojuma izvērtējums Bukaišu ielas bijušā izgāztuvē

Abstract

Rīgas administratīvajā teritorijā ir apzinātas ļoti daudzas degradētas un piesārņotas vietas, taču bieži vien šīs vietas netiek apsaimniekotas vai rekultivētas. Maģistra darba ietvaros ir novērtēts piesārņojuma telpiskais izplatījums bijušajā Bukaišu ielas izgāztuvē, ka arī šīs teritorijas applūšanas iespējamība, izmantojot ArcGIS veidotos modeļus. Papildus veiktie mērījumi izgāztuvē tika salīdzināti ar iepriekšējiem izpētes rezultātiem, ko veica SIA Geo Consultants. Iegūtie rezultāti parāda, ka piesārņojuma līmenis SIA Geo Consultants neizpētītajā izgāztuves daļā ir līdzīgs 2002. gada veiktā pētījuma datiem. Tika konstatēts, ka pēdējo desmit gadu laikā piesārņojums izgāztuves teritorijā ir saglabājies un nav samazinājies. Izgāztuvē tika ievākti un vēlāk analizēti 16 augsnes paraugi, kā arī 5 virszemes ūdens paraugi. Izgāztuves augsnē ir konstatētas augstas smago metālu koncentrācijas, virszemes ūdeņos ir paaugstinātas biogēno elementu koncentrācijas un dzelzs saturs. Izgāztuves teritorijas iespējamās applūšanās modelēšana parādīja, ka šī vieta ir jūtīga pret plūdiem. Pētījuma ietvaros ir doti autores ieteikumi sanācijas darbu veikšanai izgāztuvē un teritorijas apsaimniekošanai.

The administrative territory of Riga city has identified a large number of degraded and contaminated sites, but often these sites are not managed or recovered. Within the framework of the master thesis the estimation of spatial distribution of pollution in the Bukaišu street landfill were done, as well as the assessment of potential flooding of landfill using ArcGIS models were performed. Additional measurements taken in landfill were compared with results of previous research made by Geo Consultats Ltd. The results of collected data show that the pollution levels of soil and water are similar to data collected at 2002. Was found that the last decade pollution in the landfill is constant and is not diminished. In the landfill territory were collected and later analyzed 16 soil samples, as well as 5 surface water samples. In the soil samples is found high concentrations of heavy metals and in water high concentration of nutrients and iron. Made 3D flooding models showed that this area is sensitive to flooding. In this work are give author’s recommendations for landfill site remediation and management.
