Abstract
Diplomdarba nosaukums „Vēstījuma veidošanas prasmes attīstīšana latviešu valodas stundās 4. klasē”. Tēmas izvēli noteica autores vērojumi, kas gūti, ilgus gadus strādājot skolā un tie sakrīt ar pēdējos gados veikto pētījumu secinājumiem, ka skolēni ļoti maz lasa, viņiem ir grūti koncentrēties garāku tekstu uztverei, grūti atrast vajadzīgo informāciju, kā arī skolēni neprot paust savu viedokli.
Pirmajā nodaļā raksturota teksta loma latviešu valodas apguvē, tiek raksturots teksts, tā pazīmes, teksta veidošanas un saziņas situācijas saikne, teksta tipi un valodas stili; sniegts vēstījuma tipa tekstu apguves didaktiskais pamatojums. Otrajā nodaļā analizētas un atspoguļotas teorētiskās atziņas par tekstveides prasmju attīstīšanas metodēm un paņēmieniem, raksturoti teksta atlases kritēriji. 3. nodaļā atklāta didaktiskā materiāla izstrādes aprobācijas gaita, sniegts izmēģinājumdarbībā iesaistīto 4. klases skolēnu pedagoģiski psiholoģiskais raksturojums, analizēti diagnosticējošā darba rezultāti, raksturots didaktiskais materiāls, tā aprobācija un analizēti izmēģinājumdarībā gūtie rezultāti.

The title of the Diploma paper is "The development of narration skills in the Latvian lessons in form 4". The choice of the theme is based on the experience of the author during a long period of work at school and it coincides with the conclusions of the investigation during the last years that the schoolchildren take up too little of reading, they have difficulty to concentrate on reading longer texts, it is difficult for them to find the necessary information and to express their opinion. The first chapter characterizes the significance of the text in the process of learning Latvian, the text is being characterized, its features, the formation of the text and the link of communication, different types of texts and the styles of language; the didactic proof is given for learning such types of texts as narration. The second chapter analyzes and gives theoretical background of methods and techniques of the development of skills to form narration including the criteria of the selection of texts. The third chapter describes the procedure of working out the probation of the didactic materials and the pedagogical and psychological characteristics of the schoolchildren in form 4 involved in the experimental activities, the analysis of the results of diagnostic work and the didactic material, its probation and obtained result.
