Bioloģiski aktīvo savienojumu saturs kumelītēs

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā dots literatūras apskats par kumelītēm, to ārstnieciskām īpašībām, ķīmisko sastāvu – ēteriskām eļļām, kā arī par fenola savienojumiem un to antioksidantu īpašībām. Eksperimentālajā daļā ir pētīti kumelīšu tēju paraugi: no tiem izdalītās ēteriskas eļļas, ūdens un spirta ekstrakti. Darbā tika veikta ēterisko eļļu gāzhromatografiskā-masspektrometrijas (GH-MS) analīze, kopēja fenola savienojumu satura noteikšana kumelīšu ūdens un spirta ekstraktos ar Folino–Čikolto (Folin– Ciocalteau) metodi un to ekstraktu antiradikālas aktivitātes noteikšana ar 1,1-difenil-2-pikrilhidrazīla (DFPH) radikāli.

Bachelor’s thesis reviews literature on chamomile, its health effects, biologically active substances – essential oils, as well as on content of phenolic compounds and their antioxidative properties. The samples of different chamomile teas were investigated, making emphasis on essential oils, aqueous and ethanol extracts. The gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) analysis was taken on essential oils. Total content of phenolic compounds in chamomile aqueous and ethanol extracts was determined with Folino–Ciocalteau method, as well as these extracts’ antiradical activity was determined, using 1,1-diphenil-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical.
