Abstract
Kvalifikācijas darba mērķis ir uzlabot www.sveika.lv mājaslapu, starptautiskojot šo tīmekļa vietni un optimizējot tīmekļa meklētājiem, lai veiksmīgāk konkurētu ar līdzīgiem portāliem Latvijā. Starptautiskošana tiek veikta, lai izveidotu vietnes lietuviešu valodas versiju www.buksveika.lt, kas darbosies uz tās pašas koda bāzes kā www.sveika.lv. Programmprodukta kods tiek veidots tā, lai nākotnē būtu vieglāk pievienot jaunas valodas. Izstrāde tiek veikta pēc spējās programmatūras izstrādes principiem.
Qualification work’s goal is to improve www.sveika.lv portal by internationalizing this web site and optimizing it for search engines, in order to better compete with similar sites in Latvia. Internationalization is needed to create a web site in the Lithuanian version www.buksveika.lt, which will run on the same code base as www.sveika.lv. Software code is designed to make it easier to add new languages in the future. The development is being carried out with agile software development principles in mind.
