Jaunās Latvijas Nacionālās bibliotēkas ēkas ietekme uz bibliotēkas tēlu sabiedrībā

Abstract

Bakalaura darbs “Jaunās Latvijas Nacionālās bibliotēkas ēkas ietekme uz bibliotēkas tēlu sabiedrībā” apskata jaunās Latvijas Nacionālās bibliotēkas ēkas nozīmi un tās ietekmi uz sabiedrības viedokli. Darba galvenais mērķis ir apkopot informāciju par Latvijas bibliotēku tēlu sabiedrībā, lai noskaidrotu, vai un kā Latvijas Nacionālās bibliotēkas jaunā ēka ir mainījusi sabiedrības priekšstatus par bibliotēku un bibliotekāru. Bakalaura darba teorētiskajā daļā tiek apskatīti bibliotēkas, bibliotekāra, tēla un lietotāja jēdzieni; uztveres teorijas vēsture, tipi, stereotipi un jēdzieni; Latvijas Nacionālās bibliotēkas ēkas projekta vēsturiskie fakti; kā arī mūsdienīgas bibliotēkas funkcijas tiek aprakstītas četru telpu modelī. Bakalaura darba pētnieciskajā daļā tiek analizēti sociālajos tīklos publicētās aptaujas un ar personāla nodaļas vadītāju intervijas dati. Iegūtie dati sniedz informāciju par jauno Latvijas Nacionālās bibliotēkas ēku, tās arhitektūras, interjera, iekšējās komunikācijas un darbību ietekmi uz sabiedrības viedokli par bibliotēkas tēliem un stereotipiem bibliotekāra darba pienākumos. Bakalaura darba rezultātā hipotēze tiek pierādīta un mērķis tiek sasniegts - Latvijas Nacionālās bibliotēkas ēka ir pozitīvi ietekmējusi bibliotēkas tēlu sabiedrībā, kā arī darbs Latvijas Nacionālajā bibliotēkā tiek atzīts prestižs un pieprasīts.

The Bachelor's paper "The influence of the new National library of Latvia building on the image of the library in society" examines the significance of the National Library of Latvia and its impact on the public opinion. The main aim of the work is to gather information about the image of the Latvian Library in society to find out whether the National Library of Latvia new building has changed the perceptions of society about libraries and librarians. The theoretical part of the Bachelor's paper deals with the concepts of libraries, librarians, images and users; the history of perception theory, types, stereotypes and concepts; Historical facts of the project of the National Library of Latvia; and modern library functions that are described in a four-space model. The research part of the Bachelor's paper analyzes data of the online survey and interview with staff department managers findings about the impact of the new building of the National Library of Latvia, its architecture, interior, internal communication and activities, on public opinion about the image of the library and stereotypes about the work of the librarians. As a result of the Bachelor's paper, the hypothesis is proven and the goal is achieved - the new building of the National Library of Latvia has positively influenced the image of the library in society, and the job at the National Library of Latvia is recognized as prestigious and demanding.
