Tēva alkoholisma saistība ar pieaugušā bērna pašefektivitātes izjūtu

Abstract

Šī darba mērķis ir noskaidrot saistību starp piedzīvoto tēva alkoholismu un bērna pašefektivitātes izjūtu pieaugušā vecumā. Tiek pētīts, vai tēva alkoholisms ir saistīts ar bērna pārliecību par savām spējām. Pētījumā piedalās četras grupas (n=171): meitas un dēli ar tēva alkoholisma pieredzi un meitas un dēli bez tēva alkoholisma pieredzes, un visām grupām tiek mērīta sociālās pašefektivitātes izjūta un vispārējās pašefektivitātes izjūta. Lai atbildētu uz pētījuma jautājumu, tika izmantotas divas metodes: Pašefektivitātes izjūtas aptauja (The self-efficacy scale, Jacobs & Rogers, 1982, Latvijā adaptējusi Iveta Vītola, 2005.g.) un Alkoholiķu bērnu skrīninga tests (The children of alcoholics screening test (CAST), Jones, 1982). Pētījuma rezultāti neuzrāda statistiski nozīmīgu saistību tēva alkoholisma pieredzei ar pašefektivitātes izjūtu pieaugušā vecumā.

The aim of this work is to find out how father`s alcoholism may be related to adult child`s self-efficacy. Research is aimed to determine whether paternal alcoholism may be relevant to child`s confidence in their abilities. Four groups (n=171) are involved in this study: adult daughters and sons of alcoholic fathers and adult daughters and sons without parental alcoholism experience. Measures are taken in general self-efficacy scale and in social self-efficacy scale in all groups. To answer the research question three methods were used: The self-efficacy scale, Jacobs & Rogers, 1982, adopted in Latvia by Iveta Vītola in 2005 and The children of alcoholics screening test (CAST), Jones, 1982. The reserch results show no statistically significant relationship with the father`s alcoholism experience to a sence of self-efficacy in adulthood. Key words: self-efficacy, paternal alcoholism
