Abstract
Maģistra darbā pētītas jauno sportistu motivācijas, izdegšanas sindroma un emocionālā stresa savstarpējās saistības. Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot, kā motivācijas līmenis saistās ar izdegšanas un stresa risku sportā. Dati iegūti, aptaujājot 109 sportistus vecumā no 16 līdz 19 gadiem. Tika izmantotas trīs metodes: Sporta motivācijas skala (SMS-6), Sportistu izdegšanas aptauja (ABQ) un DASS-21 skala (stresa un trauksmes dimensijas). Rezultāti atklāja statistiski nozīmīgas korelācijas starp motivācijas veidiem, izdegšanas dimensijām un stresa rādītājiem. Augstāka iekšējā motivācija saistīta ar zemāku izdegšanas un stresa līmeni, kamēr ārējā motivācija un amotivācija – ar paaugstinātu psiholoģisko risku. The interrelations between motivation, burnout syndrome, and emotional stress among young athletes This master's thesis explores the interrelations between motivation, burnout syndrome, and emotional stress in young athletes. The aim of the study was to examine how the level of motivation is associated with the risk of burnout and stress in sports. Data were collected through a survey of 109 athletes aged 16 to 19. Three instruments were used: the Sport Motivation Scale (SMS-6), the Athlete Burnout Questionnaire (ABQ), and the Depression Anxiety Stress Scales (DASS-21), focusing on stress and anxiety dimensions. The results revealed statistically significant correlations between types of motivation, dimensions of burnout, and stress indicators. Higher levels of intrinsic motivation were associated with lower levels of burnout and stress, while extrinsic motivation and amotivation were linked to an increased risk of psychological strain.
