Ogres pilsētas telpiskās struktūras veidošanās un attīstības potenciāls

Abstract

Pētījuma objekts ir Ogres pilsētas telpiskās struktūras pārmaiņas no vasarnīcu kūrorta laikiem divdesmitā gadsimta sākumā līdz postindustriālai divdesmit pirmā gadsimta pilsētai, kas pārņem ilgtspējīgas attīstības principus un ievieš jaunākās tehnoloģijas pilsētas iedzīvotāju ikdienā. Pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot Ogres pilsētas telpiskās struktūras veidošanās vēsturi un tās attīstības potenciālu. Iegūtie rezultāti ļauj secināt, ka, lai arī Ogre ir pēdējās Latvijas administratīvās reformas rezultātā izveidotā Ogres novada administratīvais, ekonomiskais un kultūras centrs, pilsētas nākotne nesaraujami saistīta ar Rīgu, jo attālums līdz galvaspilsētai ir tik mazs, ka reģionālās attīstības saites starp Ogri un Rīgu ir spēcīgākas par Ogres pilsētas saitēm ar pārējām novada pašvaldībām. The subject of this research is changes of spatial structure of town Ogre from summerhouse resort in early twentieth century to postindustrial town of twenty first century, that adopts principles of sustainable development and introduces modern technologies into citizens’ everyday life. The objective of the research is to determine the formation of spatial structure of Ogre town and its development potential. The results show that even though the town Ogre is the civic, economic and cultural centre of district Ogres novads, created during the last civic reform in Latvia, its future is bound with Riga, because the distance to the capital is so small, that bonds between Ogre and Riga are stronger than bonds between town Ogre and other municipalities in district Ogres novads.
