Lielbritānijas musulmaņu kopienu izveidošanās

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā „Lielbritānijas musulmaņu kopienu izveidošanās” tiek apskatīta viena no svarīgākajām Rietumu pasaules problēmām- musulmaņu integrācija Apvienotajā Karalistē, kā arī problēmas, kas saistītas ar musulmaņu kopienu izplatību. Darba mērķis ir izanalizēt musulmaņu kopienu veidošanos un izpētīt to attīstību Lielbritānijā. Autors ir nonācis pie secinājuma, ka musulmaņu kopienas veidojušās no dažādām etniskajām grupām, kas ir par iemeslu dažādām problēmām. Darbs sastāv no trīs nodaļām. Darbā tiek aplūkota britu pirmā saskarsme ar musulmaņu imigrantiem, kopienu izveidošanās, sociāli- ekonomiskie faktori, kā arī tiek izpētīti islāmofobijas galvenie iemesli. Darbā izmantotie literatūras avoti, aptaujas un statistikas dati ir angļu, latviešu un arābu valodā. Bakalaura darba apjoms ir 58 lpp. Darbā izmantoti 5 attēli un 4 tabulas. The Bachelor’s paper „British Muslim communities” examines one of the main problems in the Western world- Muslim integration in the United Kingdom. Moreover, there are discussed the problems that Muslims are facing in order to expand their communities. The aim of the work is to analyze formation of Muslim communities and explore their development in the United Kingdom. From the above analysis it can be concluded that the Muslim communities are established from the various ethnic groups which is the cause for the different challenges they are facing. There are three main parts in the project. The paper talks about: first Muslim contact with British nation; establishment of the Muslim communities; the social-economic factors; and it investigates the main causes of Islamophobia. There is used wide range of the literature sources in English, Latvian and Arabic languages. Besides, the report analyzes different statistic data and surveys. The Bachelor’s paper consists of 58 pages, 5 pictures and 4 tables. Key words: Islam, Muslims, Great Britain, immigrants, communities.
