Ziņu plūsma par Baltijas valstīm un to rāmējumi Itālijas nacionālo laikrakstu elektroniskajās versijās 2008. gadā

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā „Ziņu plūsma par Baltijas valstīm un to rāmējumi Itālijas nacionālo laikrakstu elektroniskajās versijās 2008.gadā” tiek pētīta ziņu plūsma par Baltijas valstīm un tās iedzīvotājiem laikrakstos Corriere della Sera un Repubblica un ziņu plūsmu determinējošie faktori, kā arī Baltijas valstu un to iedzīvotāju rāmējumi. Darba tēmas nozīme saistās ar tā novitāti, jo iepriekš nav veikti pētījumi, kas skartu Latvijas un Itālijas saistību šādā pētniecības jomā. Lai iegūtu datus par ziņu plūsmu un to determinējošiem faktoriem, bakalaura darba ietvaros tika veikta kvantitatīva kontenanalīze, kas apkopoja datus par dažādiem kvantitatīviem un kvalitatīviem aspektiem. Rāmējumu identificēšanā un noteikšanā darba autore pielietoja rāmējuma analīzi. Bakalaura darba rezultāti norāda, ka ziņu plūsma par Baltijas valstīm un to valstīm ir neregulāra, kā arī tā ir atkarīga no Itālijas mediju patērētāju dienas kārtības un interesēm un starptautiskiem notikumiem. Darba ietvaros apstiprinās tādas J.Galtunga un M.H.Ruges izstrādātās ziņu vērtības kā nozīmīgums un saskaņa, negativitāte un neparastums, kā arī J.Galtunga centra –perifērijas plūsmas modelis. Galvenie rāmējumi ir raksturojuma, identitātes, cilvēku intereses, konflikta un atbildības. Darbs sastāv no četrām nodaļām un pielikumiem. Pirmajā nodaļā apskatītas teorētiskas atziņas, otrajā – pētījuma metodoloģija, trešā nodaļa apraksta Itālijas mediju sistēmu un Itālijā publicētās grāmatas par Baltijas valstīm, pēdējā nodaļa apkopo pētījuma rezultātus.

ANOTATION

In the Bachelor paper „The news flow about the Baltic States and its framing in the electric versions of Italian national press in the year 2008” is examined the news flow about the Baltic States and their inhabitants in the newspaper Corriere della Sera and Repubblica and the factors determining the news flow, as well as framing of the Baltic States and their inhabitants. The meaning of this paper theme is connected with its novelty, because there has not been done such a research, that would touch the connection between Latvia and Italy in this research area. In order to obtain data about the news flow and its determinative factors, within the bachelor paper is used the quantitative content analysis, that has gathered the data about different quantitative and qualitative aspects. In identification and determination of the frames the author used the framing analysis. The results of the bachelor paper indicate that the news flow about Baltic States and their inhabitants is irregular, as well it is dependent on the agenda and interests of Italian media consumers and on international events. Within the paper are confirmed the news values defined by J.Galtung and M.H.Ruge like significance and concordance, negativity and unusual, as well as the centre –periphery news flow model. The main frames are characterization, identity, human interest, conflict and responsibility. The paper consists of four chapters and supplements. In the first chapter are examined the theory, in the second – the methodology of research, the third chapter discusses the Italian media system and the book about the Baltic States and its inhabitants published in Italy, in the last chapter are summarized the research results.
