Abstract
Darbā izveidots literatūras apskats par Gaujas krastu eroziju un to ietekmējošajiem
faktoriem. Analizējot kartogrāfisko materiālu tika izvēlēts 19 km garš Gaujas posms starp
Leukādiju un Raiskuma tiltu, kurā satopami dažādu tipu meandri, salas un sēres. Attīstot
darbu vairākos pētījumu posmā esošos Gaujas līkumos tika izmantota krastu erozijas
stacionārā lauka pētījumu metode. Šiem rezultātiem, kā arī izvēlētā posma gultnes attīstībai
un ilggadīgajām ūdens līmeĦu svārstībām, tika pievērsta vislielākā nozīme.
Darba noslēgumā tika prognozēta izvēlēto meandru attīstība, kā arī izdarīti secinājumi,
kuri radās izstrādājot šo bakalaura darbu.

A literature review was made about Gauja’s bank erosion and the factors that influence it. While analyzing cartographic material, a 19 km long Gauja’s section was chosen, which is located between Leukādijas and Raiskuma Bridge (Cēsis), where various types of meanders, islands and sandbanks are present. During the development of the work, in several meandres that are in the researched sector, bank erosion stationary field research method was implemented. These results, as well as the selected sectors river bed’s development and longterm water level fluctuations, were the most essential. In the end, a projection of the chosen meanders development was given, as well as conclusions that came out from carrying out this bachelor work.
