Abstract
Pētījuma mērķis ir izzināt Latvijas Radioteātra darbību, kā arī aplūkot galvenās tendences repertuāra veidošanā Trešās Atmodas periodā (1987–1991).
Darba teorētiskā daļa balstās vadošo nacionālās identitātes teorētiķu konceptos.
Pētījuma datu atlase un apstrāde balstās pamatotās teorijas konceptā, par pētījuma metodēm izvēlēta kontentanalīze, dokumentu analīze, kā arī intervijas. Pētījuma rezultāti liecina, ka Atmodas laikā palielinājās nacionālpatriotiskā, vēsturiskā un sociālpolitiskā satura īpatsvars repertuārā, kā arī pastiprinājās Radioteātra loma nacionālās identitātes konstruēšanā auditorijā.

The aim of this research is to assess the work of the Latvian Radio Theatre, as well as key trends in its content during the Third Awakening Period (1987–1991). The theoretical groundwork of this paper is based on the concepts of the leading theorists of national identity. The selection and analsyis of data for the research is based on the concepts of grounded theory. The methods include content analysis, document analysis, as well as interviews. The findings are used to conclude that during the Awakening period, there was a surge in content that could be described as nationalistic, patriotic, historic and sociopolitical, and that there was an increase in the extent to which Radio Theatre constructed national identity in its audience.
