Onkoloģijas pacientu specializētas aprūpes mājās problēmas un iespējamie risinājumi Madonas novadā

Abstract

Saslimstība ar ļaundabīgiem audzējiem pieaug visā Eiropā, tai skaitā arī Latvijā. Pētījuma mērķis - izpētīt onkoloģijas pacientu specializētās aprūpes mājās problēmas un iespējamos risinājumus Madonas novadā. Pētījumā tika izmantota kvantitatīvā pētījuma metode. Datu iegūšanai tika izveidotas onkoloģijas pacienta un pacienta tuvinieka anketas. Pētījuma rezultāti apstiprina hipotēzi, ka Madonas novadā specializēts atbalsts onkoloģijas pacientiem mājās ir nepietiekams, atbalsta novērtējums ir zems. Tikai 24 % aptaujātie onkoloģijas pacienti un 7% tuvinieki aprūpes iespējas novērtējuši pozitīvi, piecu baļļu sistēmā, pacientu vidējais vērtējums ir 3,2, bet tuvinieku 2,5. Pētījuma rezultāti tiks nodoti Madonas novada Sociālajam dienestam.

The incidence of malignant tumors is increasing throughout Europe, including Latvia. The aim of the study is to explore the problems and possible solutions of specialised home care for oncology patients in the Madona region. A quantitative research method was used in the study. Questionnaires for oncology patients and their relatives were created to obtain data. The results of the study confirm the hypothesis that specialised support for oncology patients at home in the Madona region is insufficient, and the assessment of support is low. Only 24% of surveyed oncology patients and 7% of relatives evaluated care opportunities positively, on a five-point scale, the average rating of patients is 3.2, and relatives' rating is 2.5. The results of the study will be provided to the Social Service of the Madona region.
