Zemūdens biotopu izplatība Rīgas līča rietumu piekrastē

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā pēta Rīgas līča rietumu piekrastes jūras aizsargājamo biotopu izplatība un tajos dzīvojošo sugu biedrības. Rīgas līča piekrastei ir raksturīga izteikta abiotisko vides faktoru (sāļuma un ūdens temperatūras koncentrācijas) mainība un nevienādība, kas ietekmē sugu attīstību. Rīgas līča rietumu piekrastē ir sastopams aizsargājamais akmeņaino grunšu biotops – rifi (kods 1170), kas ir viena no nozīmīgākajām ekoloģiskajām zonām. Rifi ir būtiska dzīvesvieta gan makroskopiskajām aļģēm, gan arī daudzām bezmugurkaulnieku sugām, kas nodrošina visu jūras barības ķēdi. Daļa no rietumu piekrastes atrodas aizsargājamā jūras teritorijā. Darbs sastāv 40 lapaspuses un 19 attēliem, darbs izstrādāts sadarbojoties ar Latvijas HIdroekoloģijas institūtu, darba gaitā dati ievākti lauka apstākļos un ievāktie paraugi analizēti laboratorijā.

The bachelor thesis investigates the distribution of marine protected habitats and the communities of species living in them along the western coast of the Gulf of Riga. The Gulf of Riga coast is characterised by a strong variability and heterogeneity of abiotic environmental factors (salinity and water temperature concentrations), which influence species development. The western shore of the Gulf of Riga contains the protected rocky bottom habitat of reefs (code 1170), which is one of the most important ecological zones. Reefs are important habitats for macroscopic algae as well as for many invertebrate species that support the entire marine food chain. Part of the western coast is located in a marine protected area. The thesis consists of 41 pages and 19 figures, the work was carried out in collaboration with the Latvian Institute of Hydroecology, data were collected in the field and samples were analysed in the laboratory.
