Ventas upju baseina apgabala upju hidromorfoloģiskais novērtējums

Abstract

Bakalaura darba ietvaros tiek izvērtēta Cieceres, Ēdas un Vankas upju hidromorfoloģiskā kvalitāte, nokartētas upju hidromorfoloģiskās vienības (biotopi), kā arī tiek aprēķināta biotopu atbilstība izvēlētajām zivju sugām. Tika apsekotas sekojošas upes: Ciecere lejpus HES (hidroelektrostacija) kaskādes, Vanka lejpus Ēdoles HES un Ēda (Šķēde) lejpus Šķēdes dzirnavu HES. Pētījums veikts, lai efektīvi pielāgotu ekoloģiskā caurplūduma aprēķināšanas metodiku un MesoHABSIM modeli Latvijas apstākļiem, kas līdz šim nav darīts. Darba mērķis ir novērtēt mazo HES darbības ietekmi uz upju ekosistēmām Ventas upju baseina apgabalā. Upju kartēšana, hidromorfoloģisko un hidroloģisko datu ievākšana notika 2017. gada jūlijā, augustā, septembrī un oktobrī. Bakalaura darbā ir 45 lappuses un tas sastāv no 3 nodaļām. Darbā ievietoti 22 attēli un 5 tabulas.

This bachelor thesis has been implemented to map and assess the hydromorphologic units of the rivers (habitats) in the Venta river basin from the HPP (hydroelectric power plant) Ciecere, Ed and Vankas rivers, and to evaluate and calculate the environmental flows. The research was carried out in order to effectively adapt the MesoHABSIM methodology for calculating environmental flows for Latvian conditions that have not been implemented so far. The aim of the work is to evaluate the impact of small hydro electrostation activity on river ecosystems in the Venta river basin. River mapping and hydrological data collection took place in July, August, September and October. The Bachelor thesis consists of 45 pages and 3 chapters. The thesis includes 22 pictures and 5 charts.
