Abstract
Nepieciešamā aizstāvēšanās ir personas tiesība, kas izslēdz kriminālatbildību. Autore darbā analizē nepieciešamās aizstāvēšanās jēdzienu, salīdzina nepieciešamās aizstāvēšanās regulējumu ārvalstu normatīvajos aktos.
Darba mērķis ir nepieciešamās aizstāvēšanās būtības un tiesīguma nosacījumu noskaidrošana, izstrādājot iespējamos ieteikumus Krimināllikuma 29.pantā.

Legitimate self-defense is the right of the person that excludes criminal responsibility. Author in this thesis analyses the concept of the self-defense and juxtaposes the regulation self-defense in the foreign legislation. The objective of this work is to comprehend the nature of the self-defense and clarify the conditions for justice by formulating possible recommendations for the Article 29 in the Criminal Law.
