Komunikācijas loma saskarsmē ar bibliotēkas lietotājiem Latvijas Universitātes Rīgas Medicīnas koledžas bibliotēkā

Abstract

Maģistra darbs “Komunikācijas loma saskarsmē ar bibliotēkas lietotājiem Latvijas Universitātes Rīgas Medicīnas koledžas bibliotēkā” izstrādāts ar mērķi izpētīt komunikāciju bibliotekāra ikdienas darbā Latvijas Universitātes Rīgas Medicīnas koledžas bibliotēkā un noskaidrot komunikācijas ietekmi uz bibliotēkas lietotājiem. Darba teorētisko bāzi veido hermeneitika un Iceka Ajzena (Icek Ajzen) Plānotās uzvedības teorija (Theory of Planned Behavior). Izvirzītā mērķa sasniegšanai izvēlēta jaukta tipa pētījuma stratēģija, datu iegūstot ar tādām metodēm kā aptauja un intervija. Pētījumā noskaidrots, ka komunikācija ar bibliotekāru Latvijas Universitātes Rīgas Medicīnas koledžas bibliotēkā ietekmē bibliotēkas lietotājus un viņu izvēles bibliotēkas apmeklējuma laikā. Ikdienas darbā bibliotekāri komunicē ar bibliotēkas lietotājiem, kolēģiem un sadarbības partneriem, tāpēc nepieciešams pilnveidot esošās zināšanas komunikācijas jomā.

The master`s thesis “Communication Role in Contact with Library Users at Riga Medical College Library of the University of Latvia” has been developed with the aim to research communication in the librarian`s daily work at the library of Riga Medical College of the University of Latvija and to clarify the impact of communication on the library`s users. The theoretical base of the work is composed of hermeneutics and the Icek Ajzen Theory of Planned Behavior. A strategy for a mixed – type study was chosen to achieve the aim, using such methods as survey and interview for data collection. The study revealed that communication with the librarian in the library of the Riga Medical College of the University of Latvia influences library users and their choices during the library visit. In their daily work, librarians communicate with library users, colleagues and cooperation partners, therefore, it is necessary to improve the existing knowledge in the field of communication.
