dc.description.abstractDimplomdarbā tiek izvērtēta emociju loma valodu apguvē, īpašu uzmanību pievēršot svešvalodu apguves trauksmes jēdziena izpētei. Šī darba mērķis ir apzināt tos faktorus, kas vislielākajā mērā nodrošina veiksmīgu svešvalodas apgūšanu, kā arī noskaidrot, cik liela ir svešvalodu apguves trauksmes ietekme uz valodas apgūšanu. Pētījuma rezultāti ir iegūti novērojot konkrētu klašu mācību procesa norisi, pielietojot šajās klasēs svešvalodu apguves trauksmes skalu, lai notiektu trauksmes līmeni, kā arī veicot svešvalodu skolotāju aptauju. Darba rezultāti parāda, ka svešvalodu apguves trauksmei ir nozīmīga loma valodas apguvē, kā arī to, ka tā šajā procesā var funkcionēt gan kā motivējošs, gan kavējošs faktors. dc.description.abstractThe present paper deals with analyzing the role of emotions in mastering language skills, specifically exploring the notion of foreign language classroom anxiety. The purpose of this investigation is to find out those factors that have the most significant contribution to ensuring a successful process of acquiring a foreign language, as well as identify the level to which foreign language classroom anxiety influences the process of acquiring a foreign language. The study is based upon the results obtained by applying the case study methodology in the foreign language classroom, involving classroom observation, administration of both the foreign language classroom anxiety scale, and a questionnaire aimed at foreign language teachers. The findings of the research demonstrate that foreign language classroom anxiety plays an important role in the process of mastering a foreign language, functioning both as a motivating and hindering factor.
