Bezdarbnieki kā ilgstošie sociālā dienesta klienti Ventspilī: sociālā darba speciālistu un klientu redzējums

Abstract

Šī maģistra darba tēma ir “Bezdarbnieki kā ilgstošie sociālā dienesta klienti Ventspilī: sociālā darba speciālistu un klientu redzējums”. Tēmas aktualitāti nosaka daudzie pētījumi par šo problēmu ne tikai Latvijā, bet arī ārzemēs. Sociālajā darbā ir izveidojusies jauna klientu mērķgrupa – ilgstošie klienti, kuri nav aktīvi savu problēmu risināšanā. Maģistra darba mērķis ir noskaidrot un salīdzināt ilgstošo klientu un sociālā darba speciālistu viedokli par ilgstošo sociālās palīdzības saņemšanu. Pētījums balstās uz maģistra darbā aprakstītajos pētījumos gūtajām atziņām un daļēji strukturētām intervijām ar ilgstošajiem klientiem/ bezdarbniekiem un sociālā darba speciālistiem. Pētījuma rezultāti liecina par to, ka ilgstošo klientu problēmas kopaina, salīdzinot ar ārzemēm, ir līdzīga.The theme of this Master’s paper is “Unemployed as Long-term Social Service Clients in Ventspils: the Viewpoint of Social Workers and Clients”. Topicality is determined by many studies abaout this problem not only in Latvia, but also abroad. There is a new clients group in social work – long-term clients, who are not active in solving their own problems. The aim of this Master’s paper is to clarify and compare the long-term clients and social workers viewpoint about long-term social assistance. The study is based on the insights from research described in Master's paper and semi- structured interviews with long-term clients/ unemployed and social workers. The study results shows that long-term clients problems overview, compared with abroad, is similar.
