Abstract
Autora izstrādātais diplomdarbs ir veltīts izpētei par grafisko redaktoru lomu informātikas priekšmetā un skolēnu prasmju līmenim. Darba galvenais mērķis ir salīdzināt standartā noteiktās prasības un skolēnu praktiskajām prasmēm – vai skolēnu prasmes sniedzas ārpus izglītības standartu noteiktajām prasībām.
Darba ietvaros ir izstrādāta anketa, ar kuras palīdzību tika noskaidrotas skolēnu prasmes par dažādiem grafiskajiem redaktoriem. Darba gaitā ir noskaidrots, ka skolēni pārzina vienkāršākos grafiskos redaktorus, taču šīs zināšanas ir par dažiem redaktoriem.
Lai varētu piedāvāt risinājumus situācijas uzlabošanai, tika izstrādāti priekšlikumi un tika apskatīti slēgtā koda redaktori, kuri tiek mācīti skolās un atvērtā koda grafiskie redaktori, kurus būtu iespējams mācīt skolēniem.
