Abstract
Diplomdarba tēma ir “Foto eseju krājuma dizaina vizuālā stilistika”. Balstoties uz teorētisku un empīrisku pētījumu, darba mērķis ir izveidot foto eseju krājumu, tā saturu un noformējumu. Teorētiskajā daļā aprakstīta fotogrāfijas vēsture Latvijā un svarīgākie globālie notikumi, kas saistīti ar fotogrāfijas attīstību. Tika izpētīta arī portretu fotogrāfija un fotogrāfijas komunikācijas īpašības. Detalizēti tika izpētīta iespieddarba izveide un dizains – drukas tehnikas, papīra īpatnības, maketa izveide un citas tik pat svarīgas lietas, kas jāņem vērā izveides procesā. Emīriskajā daļā autore apskatīja un salīdzināja sešpadsmit dažādus dizaina paraugus, foto eseju krājumus. Pēc izvirzītiem kritērijiem – izdevuma vāka dizains, poligrāfiskās realizācijas un maketa, secināja foto eseju krājumu raksturīgākās iezīmes. Radošajā daļā autore izveidoja foto eseju krājumu par saviem līdzcilvēkiem, ar nosaukumu “Savējie, manējie”, kuru saturiski, gan fotogrāfijas, gan tekstus radīja pati autore.
The thesis “Visual stylistics of photo essay collection” purpose is to create a photo essay collection, based on theoretical and empirical study about photography and photo essay books. In the theoretical part of the thesis author investigates and describes the history of photography in Latvia and the most important global happenings regarding photography and its development. Also portrait photography and how photography can be a communicator on its own. The author looked into the creation and design of a printed work – printing techniques, paper features, layout creation and other equally important things that should be taken into account in the creation process. In the empirical part, the author reviewed and compared sixteen different design samples, photo essay books. According to criteria, the author set – cover design, polygraphic realization and page layout – the most common features of photo essay books were concluded. In the creative part, the author created a photo essay collection about people, named “Savējie, manējie”, in which the content, both photographs and texts, were created by the author herself.
