Mobilitātes paradumu noteicošie faktori Rīgas apkaimēs un priekšlikumi transporta plānošanai

Abstract

Mūsdienu transportlīdzekļu izvēle un iedzīvotāju pārvietošanās paradumi ir viens no vissvarīgākajiem dzīves un ekonomiskākajiem aspektiem. Diemžēl šiem procesiem ir negatīva īstermiņa un ilgtermiņa ietekme uz vidi un cilvēka veselību. Lai risinātu šo problēmu ir būtiski saprast pārvietošanās ietekmējošos faktorus un transporta izvēles veidus. Maģistra darba mērķis ir izstrādāt metodiku noteicošo faktoru identifikācijai mobilitātes veidu izvēlē un rekomendācijas satiksmes plānošanai Rīgā. Darbā ir veikta pašreizējā transporta situācijas pētījuma analīze Rīgas pilsētā, kā arī pētītas vispārīgi un detalizēti pilsētas apkaimes. Uz esošās situācijas pētījuma analīzes ir izstrādātas rekomendācijas transporta plānošanai Rīgā.

The transportation mode choice and the movement habits of the population are one of the most important aspects of life and the economy. Unfortunately, these processes have negative short- and long-term effects on the environment and human health. Understanding the factors influencing mobility and transport choices is essential to address this issue. The aim of the master's thesis is to develop a methodology for identifying the determining factors that influences transportation mode choice, travel patterns and recommendations for traffic planning in Riga. In this research there is analyzed the current transport situation in Riga city as well as general and in detail look of neighborhoods related to transportation mode choice and travel patterns. Recommendations for transport planning in Riga have been developed based on the analysis of the current situation study.
