Ieinteresēto sociālo grupu ietekme uz eiropeizācijas procesu Austrumbaltijā (1199-1229)

Abstract

Balstoties uz to, ka katra sociālā grupa ir kādas latīņu kristīgās Eiropas garīgās vai laicīgās sfēras reprezentante, bakalaura darbā “Ieinteresēto sociālo grupu ietekme uz eiropeizācijas procesu Austrumbaltijā (1199-1229)” identificēti četri Austrumbaltijas eiropeizācijā ieinteresētie aktori – garīdzniecība, Dānijas Karaliste, bruņniecība un tāltirgotāji – un analizēta viņu nozīme eiropeizācijas procesā laika periodā no 1199. gada līdz 1229.gadam. Izmantojot viduslaiku Livonijas 13. gs. hroniku materiālu, pētījuma rezultātā ir izdevies padziļināt skatījumu uz Austrumbaltijas integrāciju latīņu kristīgās Eiropas kultūrtelpā un tajā iesaistīto aktoru mijiedarbību.

Based on the fact that each social group is a representative of a specific Christian Europe’s spiritual or secular sphere, the bachelor's thesis “The Impact of Interested Social Groups on the Europeanization of Eastern Baltic (1199-1229)” identifies four actors interested in Eastern Europeanization: the clergy, Kingdom of Denmark, knighthood and long-distance traders, and analyzes their impact on the process of Europeanization during the period from 1199 to 1229. Using the 13th century chronicles of medieval Livonia, the study has succeeded in significantly expanding the view on the Eastern Baltic integration into the cultural space of Latin Christian Europe and the interaction of the actors involved in it.
