Abstract
Saslimstība ar ādas vēzi pasaulē un Latvijā strauji pieaug ar katru gadu. 90% no visiem ļaundabīgajiem ādas vēžiem sastāda bazalioma. Tās biežā tendence lokalizēties uz sejas un citās ķermeņa vietās var radīt ievērojamus kosmētiskos ādas bojājumus. Darba uzdevumi: Pētījuma mērķis bija izpētīt un raksturot cilvēku saslimstību ar ļaundabīgo ādas bazaliomu (KSS-10, kods C44) gan Latvijā, gan citur pasaulē un salīdzināt ar VSIA „Rīgas Austrumu klīniskā universitāte” Latvijas Onkoloģijas centra abdominālās un mīksto audu ķirurģiskās nodaļas datiem.
The incidence of skin cancer in the world and Latvia is growing rapidly every year. 90% of all malignant skin cancers constitutes basal cell carcinoma. It tend to localized on the face and other parts of the body can cause significant cosmetic damage to the skin. Study aim: The aim of the study was to study and describe the incidence and people with basal cell carcinoma (ICD-10, code C44) in Latvia and worldwide and then compare the results with those of RAKUS Latvian Oncology Center’s abdominal and soft tissue surgical department.
