Abstract
Maģistra darba tēma- „Dzimumu līdztiesība Eiropas Savienībā: Sociālā politika un tiesiskās aizsardzības problēmas”.
Maģistra darba mērķis ir analizēt dzimumu līdztiesības tiesību tiesisko regulējumu Eiropas Savienībā, kā arī izvērtēt Eiropas Savienības lomu sociālās politikas īstenošanā, īpaši pievēršot uzmanību situācijai Latvijā.
Maģistra darbs sastāv no ievada, pamatdaļas, secinājumiem, izmantoto avotu saraksta un vairākiem pielikumiem.
Maģistra darba pamatdaļā tiek iztirzāti šādi jautājumi: Eiropas Savienības sociālā politika; Diskriminācijas aizlieguma jēdziens, veidi; Dzimumu līdztiesības princips; Dzimumu līdztiesības tiesību piemērošana; ES tiesību iedarbība, nacionālie tiesību aizsardzības līdzekļi. Kā galvenais darba izziņas un izpētes avots izmantota EKT prakse.
The subject of Diploma Paper is Gender Equality in European Union: Social Policy and Questions of Legal Defence. The purpose of Diploma Paper is to study questions of legal defence of gender equality in European Union, as well as to evaluate role of European Union in implementation of social policy, especially drawing attention to situation in Latvia. Diploma Paper consist of preamble, basic parts, corollaries, literature’s list and appendants. Basic part consists of 5 chapters: Social Policy of European Union; The Idea of Conception of “Prohibition of Discrimination”; Principle of Gender Equality; Implementation Legislation of Rights on Gender Equality; Effect of Legislation of European Union, National Instruments of Protection of Rights or Interests. Main source of Diploma Paper are the decisions of ECJ and national courts.
