Publisko bibliotēku lietotāju apmācība kā bibliotēkas pakalpojums

Abstract

Bakalaura darba “Publisko bibliotēku lietotāju apmācība kā bibliotēkas pakalpojums” mērķis ir noskaidrot publisko bibliotēku lietotāju bibliotekārās apmācības nozīmīgumu un nepieciešamību, kā arī noskaidrot, vai bibliotēkas piedāvā saviem lietotājiem apmācību pakalpojumus un vai tas ir nepieciešams. Mērķis tika sasniegts, analizējot teorētisko literatūru, veicot praktisko pētījumu, izmantojot aptaujas-anketēšanas un eksperimenta metodes. Darbā raksturots publiskās bibliotēkas mērķis un uzdevumi, analizēti bibliotēkas pakalpojumi. Skaidrots informācijpratības jēdziens un modeļi, aplūkotas dažādas apmācību teorijas un metodes, kuras būtu izmantojamas lietotāju apmācībā. Darba empīriskajā daļā gan publisko bibliotēku lietotāji, gan to darbinieki atzīst, ka apmācība publiskajā bibliotēkā ir vajadzīgs pakalpojums. The aim of the bachelor’s thesis “Public Libraries Users training as library’s Service” is to find, out the importancy and necessity of users training of public libraries, as well as find out if libraries offer this service and if there is a demand for it. The aim was achieved by analysing theoretical literature, carrying out practical reserches, using questionnaires and experiment methods. The study contains the characteristic of the aim and tasks of a public library, the aim and tasks of a public library, the analyse of its services. Information skills have been explained and different instruction theories and methods considered they can be used in practical instruction. Both users and workers of public libraries admit in the empirical part of the study the necessity of such training.
