Abstract

Šajā bakalaura darbā pētītā tēma ir pasaules redzējums un attēlojums itāļu dziesmu autora un izpildītāja Paulo Kontes tekstos. Šī pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot, ar kādām metodēm autors dziesmu tekstos attēlo viņa pasaules redzējumu. Pētījuma galvenie jautājumi ir: veids, kādā autors attēlo cilvēku; galvenās Paulo Kontes dziesmu tekstos aplūkotās tēmas; kā arī maniere, kādā itāļu komponists attēlo viņa pasaules redzējumu. Lai sasniegtu darba mērķi, tajā tiek apskatīts mākslinieka bagātais dzīves gājums, viņa mākslinieciskā attīstība un izaugsme un viņu iedvesmojošās mūzikas tendences, kā arī tiek analizēta daļa no Paulo Kontes dziesmu tekstiem. Pētījuma metodoloģija balstās uz kultūras konteksta un Paulo Kontes muzikālās darbības apskatu. Pētījuma rezultāti apstiprina, ka autora dziesmu tekstus ietekmē gan viņa izcelsme, gan mūzikas iedvesmas, gan muzikālā gaume. Visbiežāk aplūkotās tēmas Paulo Kontes tekstos ir: pēckara cilvēks; fiziskais un garīgais ceļojums; sieviete un nostaļģija.

This research studies the subject of the representation of the world in Italian singer-songwriter Paolo Conte’s lyrics. The objective of this thesis is to learn the methods with which he represents his view on the world in his lyrics. The basic questions consist of the way in which the author represents the human being, of the most frequent subjects in the lyrics, of the motif that the author uses to represent his view of the world. To reach the goal of the research there is an observation of the rich biography of Conte, of his artistic development and his musical influences, further on there is an analysis of a part of Conte’s poetry. This thesis is based on the observation of the cultural context and the musical activity of Paolo Conte. The results of the research confirm the influence of the origin of the artist and of his artistic development and musical taste on his lyrics. The most frequent subjects are: postwar man, physical and metaphysical journey, woman and nostalgia.
