Vaives upes hidromorfoloģiskais novērtējums

Abstract

Bakalaura darba “Vaives upes hidromorfoloģiskais novērtējums” mērķis ir novērtēt Vaives upes hidromorfoloģisko stāvokli, izmantojot River Habitat Survey (RHS) metodi, kā arī veikt Vaives upes morfometrisko un hidroloģisko parametru aprēķināšanu. Upes apsekojumi tika veikti 2024. gada vasarā – jūlijā un augustā. Lauka pētījumu ietvaros tika veikts Vaives upes hidromorfoloģiskais novērtējums, reģistrējot novērojumus RHS 2003. gada versijas veidlapās. Papildus tam, ĢIS vidē tika noteikti Vaives upes un baseina morfometriskie un hidroloģiskie parametri. Veicot rezultātu analīzi secināts, ka pēc iegūtajiem vides kvalitātes indeksiem Vaives upe saglabā daudz dabisko īpašību un lielākā daļa tās posmu atbilst augstākajām kvalitātes klasēm, kas liecina par labu upes ekoloģisko stāvokli.

The aim of the bachelor thesis "Hydromorphological assessment of the Vaive river" is to assess the hydromorphological condition of the Vaive river by using the River Habitat Survey (RHS) method, as well as calculate the morphometric and hydrological parameters of the Vaives River. The surveys of the river were carried out in the summer of 2024 - July and August. As part of the field surveys, a hydromorphological assessment of the Vaive river was carried out by recording observations on the RHS 2003 version forms. In addition, the morphometric and hydrological parameters of the Vaive river and its basin was determined in a GIS environment. Based on the analysis of the results, it has been concluded that according to the obtained habitat quality indices, the Vaive River retains many natural characteristics, and most of its sites correspond to the highest quality classes, indicating a good ecological status of the river.
