Protestu pret COVID-19 ierobežojumiem salīdzinošā analīze Baltijas valstīs

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā “Protestu pret COVID-19 ierobežojumiem salīdzinošā analīze Baltijas valstīs” mērķis ir noskaidrot vai protesti, kas tika veidoti pret COVID-19 ierobežojumiem spēja pārliecināt valdību un likt tai atcelt pieņemtos lēmumus. Darba teorētisko daļu veido teorētiskā literatūra par protesta definīciju, kustību un pretkustību teorijām, protestu izpausmes veidiem un tiek secināts, kas padara protestu efektīvu. Darba empīriskajā daļā tiek analizēti seši protesti, kas risinājās Baltijas valstīs, laika posmā no 2020. gada marta līdz 2021. gada decembrim, proti, divi protesti katrā valstī, izmantojot teorijas daļā apkopoto informāciju, kas protestu efektīvu. Darba secinājumos tiek noskaidrots, ka neviens izveidotais protests pret COVID-19 ierobežojumiem nebija efektīvs.

The aim of the bachelor's thesis “Comparative Analysis of Protests against COVID-19 Restrictions in the Baltic States” is to find out whether the protests against COVID-19 restrictions were able to persuade the government and force it to overturn the decisions taken. The theoretical part of the work consists of theoretical literature on the definition of protest, theories of movement and anti-movement, types of protest and it is concluded what makes a protest effective. The empirical part of the paper analyzes six protests that took place in the Baltic States between March 2020 and December 2021, two protests in each country, using the information gathered in the theoretical part to make the protests effective. The conclusions of the paper show that none of the protests against the restrictions of COVID-19 were effective.
