Padomju cilvēka portrets kinožurnālos "Padomju Latvija" 1986. un 1987. gada numuros

Abstract

Darba tēma ir padomju cilvēku portreti kinožurnālos „Padomju Latvija” 1986. un 1987. gadā. Pētījuma problēma ir cilvēka vieta un loma kinožurnālu sižetos – vai cilvēks tiek izmantots kā ilustrācija diktora runai, vai cilvēks pats par sevi ir stāsts? Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot, kā attēloja padomju cilvēku kinožurnālos „Padomju Latvija” un kāda bija cilvēka vieta kinohroniku vēstījumos. Teorijas pirmajā daļā tiks apskatīts dokumentālais kino kā tāds. Tam sekos ieskats tajā, kas īsti ir kinožurnāli un ar ko tie atšķīrās no pilnmetrāžas dokumentālām filmām, un kāds ir padomju cilvēks teorijā. Pētījuma metodoloģija tiek balstīta uz J. Fiskes televīzijas kodu trīs līmeņiem – realitāte, reprezentācija un ideoloģija. Darba rezultāti nepagāž, bet arī nepierada to, ka cilvēkam ir tikai ilustratīva loma kinožurnālos. Viss ir atkarīgs no režisora un sižeta tapšanas iemesla, tāpēc kinožurnālos var atrast gan dziļākus, gan seklākus portretus. This work analyzes the portrayal of the soviet man in “Soviet Latvia” show reels shown from year 1986 to 1987. The research problem is the undefined status of a person in the soviet show reels – is a person only an image illustrating the speakers’ speech or is a person itself a story? The goal of this work is to find out what did the soviet man portrait look like in the “Soviet Latvia” show reels and what was the role of the person. In the first part of the theoretical approach the reader will have a look on documentary movies as they are. Then we are going to find out what is the difference between show reels and documentaries. Also we’ll try to find out how does a soviet man look like in theory. Methodology of this work is based on J. Fiskes three levels of television codes – reality, representation and ideology. The results of this work neither prove nor deny an illustrative role of a man in the soviet show reels; it only proves that this aspect of narrative depends on the director of the show reels given as well as the reason, why has this show reel been made, since both – deep and shallow – portraits of persons can be found.
