Abstract
Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot, kā pēcdzemdību depresijas un posttraumatiskā stresa pazīmes izpaužas mātēm un to ietekme uz emocionālās saiknes veidošanos ar bērnu. Pētījumā piedalījās 401 sieviete, kura ir dzemdējusi vienu, vai vairākus bērnus pēdējā 1 gada laikā (Garthus-Niegel et al., 2018). Izmantotās aptaujas: pēcdzemdību saiknei ’’The Postpartum Bonding Questionnaire/PBQ/, Brockington et al.,2006”. Pēcdzemdību depresijai ’’Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale-EPDS,Holden,Sagovsky,Cox,1989’’. Posttraumatiskajam stresam “DSM–5. “Self-report PTSD Checklist for Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition, (PCL-5)’’. Rezultāti rāda statistiski nozīmīgu saistību pazeminātai mātes-bērna saiknei sievietēm ar pēcdzemdību depresijas un pēcdzemdību posttraumatiskā stresa sindroma pazīmēm. Sievietes vecums un partnera klātesamība dzemdībās un pēcdzemdību periodā ir aizsargfaktori. Atslēgas vārdi: Pēcdzemdību posttraumatiskā stresa sindroms, pēcdzemdību depresija, saikne ar bērnu.
The aim of this study was to explore how symptoms of postpartum depression and posttraumatic stress associates in mothers and how these signs affect the development of emotional bonding with their infant. The study involved 401 women who had given birth to one or more children within the past year (Garthus-Niegel et al., 2018). The following instruments were used: mother infant bonding ’’The Postpartum Bonding Questionnaire/PBQ/, Brockington et al.,2006”. Postpartum depression ’’Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale-EPDS,Holden,Sagovsky,Cox,1989’’. Posttraumatic stress “DSM–5. “Self-report PTSD Checklist for Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition, (PCL-5)’’. The results indicate a statistically significant association between lower mother-infant bonding and the presence of postpartum depression and posttraumatic stress symptoms. Additionally, maternal age and partner presence during childbirth and the postpartum period emerged as protective factors.
