Abstract
Maģistra darbā skatīta valsts un ģimenes apgādības atbildība par pensionāru finansiālo labklājību. Secināts, ka valsts sniegtais atbalsts pensionāriem nav pietiekams, un labklājības nodrošināšanai, pensionāriem palīdzība jāmeklē ģimenes lokā. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt Latvijas pensiju politikas nostādnes un identificēt Latvijas sabiedrībā dominējošos pieaugušo bērnu un viņu mātes paaudžu solidaritātes modeļus, izvērtējot modeļos ietverto potenciālo sieviešu labklājības nodrošināšanā. Datu iegūšanai veikta reprezentatīva 300 Latvijas iedzīvotāju aptauja. Secināts, ka vairāk nekā puse īstenoto attiecību, ietver pieaugušo bērnu gatavību iesaistīties savas mātes finansiālās labklājības nodrošināšanā vecumdienās. Atslēgas vārdi: individuālisma – kolektīvisma vērtības, labklājības valsts, paaudžu solidaritāte, paaudžu attiecību modeļi.
Thesis addresses the responsibility of the state and the family for the financial well-being of retired. The public contributions for the retired are not sufficient, and for the insurance of well-being, retired ought to seek assistance within the family.The aim of this thesis is to explore the Latvian pension policy and to identify intergenerational solidarity models of the adult children and their mother, evaluating the filial responsibility potential of these models. To obtain data, representative survey with 300 Latvian residents was conducted. The results show that more than half of the relationships implemented includes an adult child’s readiness to participate in their mother’s well-being in old age.
