Globālo klimata pārmaiņu novēršanas politikas izvērtējums

Abstract

Bakalaura darba temats ir “Globālo klimata pārmaiņu novēršanas politikas izvērtējums”. Globālo klimata pārmaiņu jautājums pēdējo gadu laikā ir atzīts par vienu no steidzamāk risināmajām pasaules problēmām. Darba teorētisko ietvaru veido ieviešanas teorijas un dažādu ieviešanas aspektu teorijas, kā arī teorija par klimata pārmaiņu politiku. Darba empīriskajā daļā, izmantojot teorētiskajā daļā izvirzītos kritērijus, tiek analizēti septiņi Latvijas Republikas Nacionālie ziņojumi ANO Vispārējās konvencijas par klimata pārmaiņām ietvaros. Darba mērķis ir izvērtēt konvencijas saistību īstenošanas laikā veiktos klimata politikas pasākumus un to atbilstību konvencijas mērķim. The topic of the thesis is “Assessment of global climate change politics”. The issue of global climate change has been recognized as one of the most pressing global challenges in recent years. The theoretical framework of the work consists of implementation theories and theories on various implementation aspects, as well as theory of climate change politics. In the empirical part of the research, using the criteria set out in the theoretical part, seven National Reports of the Republic of Latvia under the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change are analysed. The aim of the work is to evaluate the climate politics’ measures taken during the implementation of the convention obligations and their compliance within the convention objective.
