Ekoloģiskās pārtikas ģeogrāfija: Rīgas piemērs

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma „Ekoloģiskās pārtikas ģeogrāfija: Rīgas piemērs” lielā mērā izsaka šī darba būtību, kura pamatā ir pētījums par pārtikas ģeogrāfiju un ekoloģiskās pārtikas pieejamību un izplatību Rīgā. Darba mērķis ir analizēt ekoloģiskās pārtikas ģeogrāfiju, izmantojot Rīgas piemēru. Mērķa sasniegšanai tika apsekotas ekoloģiskās pārtikas tirdzniecības vietas Rīgā, veiktas neformālās intervijas ar ražotājiem vai ekspertiem šajā jomā, kā arī sastādītas kartoshemās ar pašreiz esošām ekoloģiskās pārtikas tirdzniecības vietām. Darbs sastāv no četrām nodaļām un vairākām apakšnodaļām. Pirmajā nodaļā ir pētījuma teorētiskā nostādne ar literatūras apskats par tēmas aktualitāti un ārvalstu autoru pētījumiem par pārtikas ģeogrāfiju, ekoloģisko un lokālo pārtiku. Otrajā nodaļā ir apskatītas metodes, kas tika izmantotas darba mērķa sasniegšanai un uzdevumu veikšanai. Trešā nodaļa veltīta ekoloģiskās pārtikas iegādes iespējām Rīgā. Ceturtajā nodaļā ir pausti darba izstrādes gaitā radušies secinājumi un priekšlikumi par ekoloģisko pārtiku Rīgā. The topic of this Bachelor thesis is „Geography of Organic Food. Riga Case Study”, which is a detailed research on food geography, organic food and its availability in Riga. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the geography of organic food by using Riga case study. In order to reach this aim, the author has indicated and mapped the organic food trading points in Riga. The informal interviews and talks were carried out with the local organic farmers and experts. The illustrative maps were created to show the geographical distribution of organic food availability in Riga city. The thesis consists of 4 chapters and multiple sub-chapters. In the first chapter there is a literature review with the discussion of other author’s researches. In the second chapter the methods and materials used in this work are described. The third chapter is consecrated to organic food in Riga, its availability and geographical distribution. In the forth chapter the conclusions and suggestions about the overall situation are provided.
