Makroekonomisko izmaiņu ietekme uz dzimstību 27 Eiropas Savienības valstīs laika periodā no 2000. līdz 2020. gadam

Abstract

Eiropas novecošanās tiek apspriesta kā viena no galvenajām 21. gadsimta sociālekonomiskajām problēmām, tāpēc pēdējā laikā kļūst populārāka demogrāfijas un ekonomikas savstarpēja, nevis atsevišķa analīze. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt, kuri makroekonomiskie faktori vairāk korelē ar kopējo dzimstības koeficientu un kurās valstīs laika posmā no 2000.-2020., kā arī konkrēti laika posmā no 2008 līdz 2010. gadam. Pētījuma rezultāti liecina, ka starp ES-27 valstīm pastāv atšķirības attiecībā uz makroekonomisko pārmaiņu ietekmi uz dzimstību, tomēr kopējā ES tendence liecina, ka makroekonomiskajiem faktoriem ir lielāka ietekme uz dzimstību neordināru ekonomisko pārmaiņu periodā, kā piemēram 2008.-2010. krīze.

Ageing of Europe has been discussed as one of the main socio-economic problems of the 21st century, therefore recently it has become more popular to analyse demographics and economics together rather than in isolation. The aim of the thesis is to explore, which macroeconomic factors correlate more with the total fertility rate and in which countries during the period of 2000.-2020. And the period of 2008.-2010. specifically. The results of the research show that differences exist among the EU-27 countries regarding the impact of macroeconomic changes on fertility, however the overall tendency of the EU shows that macroeconomic factors have bigger influence on fertility rates during the period of unordinary economic change, as the 2008.-2010. crisis.
