Ģeogrāfiskās nomenklatūras vārdi latviešu toponīmijā

Abstract

Pētījumā apkopoti, sistematizēti un etimoloģiskā, areālā, derivatīvā un semantiskā aspektā analizēti LU Latviešu valodas institūta vietvārdu kartotēkā un dažādos citos avotos fiksētie ģeogrāfiskās nomenklatūras vārdi jeb saliktā vietvārdā ietilpstošie sugasvārdi un to varianti. Analizējot ģeogrāfisko apelatīvu etimoloģiju, raksturota to etimoloģiskā statistika un galvenie aizguvumu ceļi. Noteiktas galvenās izplatītāko areālismu izoglosas. Aplūkoti raksturīgākie nomenklatūras vārdu derivācijas paņēmieni. Raksturoti specifiskie onomastiskie procesi toponīmijā, pievēršot īpašu uzmanību nomenklatūras vārdu semantiskajām pārbīdēm un toponīmiskajai sinekdohai. Analizējot ģeogrāfisko apelatīvu iekļaušanos onomastiskajās (sintaktiskajās) struktūrās, noteikti galvenie toponīmiskie modeļi.The study provides collection and systematization of the Latvian generic terms which are analyzed in etymological, areal, derivational and semantic aspects. Analysis in the etymological aspect displays the statistics of etymology of the Latvian geographical nomenclature and the main paths of borrowings. The study describes the main isoglosses of specific regional generic terms, tecniques of word formation in the Latvian geographic nomenclature, as well as specific onomastic processes in the Latvian toponymy, paying particular attention to the semantic (metaphoric, metonymic, and functional) transposition and onomastic (sintactic) structures. Evaluating compound geographical names, toponymic models and their structure are defined.
