Motivācija gribētai bezbērnotībai saistībā ar sociāldemogrāfiskiem faktoriem

Abstract

Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot, kāda ir saistība starp sociāldemogrāfiskiem faktoriem un bērna radīšanas motivāciju indivīdu izvēlē dzīvot bez bērniem. Pētījumā piedalījās 194 respondenti vecumā no 18 līdz 43 gadiem. Dati tika ievākti, izmantojot strukturētu anketu ar bērnu dzimšanas motivācijas skalu. Tika veikta korelāciju, regresijas un starpgrupu salīdzinājumu analīze. Rezultāti parādīja, ka zemāka finansiālā drošība ir saistīta ar izteiktākiem negatīvajiem motīviem, savukārt attiecību statusam un izglītības līmenim bija daļēja ietekme uz noteiktiem motivācijas aspektiem.

The aim of this study was to explore the relationship between sociodemographic factors and childbearing motivation in the context of individuals’ choice to remain childfree. The study involved 194 respondents aged 18 to 43. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire that included the Childbearing Motivations Scale. Correlational, regression, and between-group analyses were conducted. The results showed that lower financial security was associated with stronger negative childbearing motivations, while relationship status and education level had a partial impact on specific motivational aspects.
