Abstract
OS X ir Unix bāzēta operētājsistēma, kuru izstrādā korporācija Apple. Šobrīd tā sastāda aptuveni 6% ( Netmarketshare, 2013 ) no kopējā tirgus, kaut arī tā ir neliela daļa salīdzinājumā ar Microsoft Windows, tomēr arvien vairāk cilvēku dod priekšroku tieši Apple radītajai operētājsistēmai.
Maģistra darba teorētiskajā daļā tiks aplūkota OS X datora lietojumprogrammu izveide un JIRA pieteikumu reģistra tīmekļa saskarnes galvenie trūkumi, kurus ir iespējams risināt, izveidojot datora lietojumprogrammu.
Pēc teorētiskā materiāla izpētes, praktiskajā daļā tiks izveidota OS X datora lietojumprogramma, kas kalpos kā klients JIRA pieteikumu reģistram. Tās galvenais mērķis ir risināt eksistējošās tīmekļa saskarnes problēmas un atvieglot ikdienas darbu ar JIRA sniegto pakalpojumu. Pēc lietojumprogrammas izstrādes tā tiks ievietota Mac App Store programmu veikalā, kur tā būs pieejama lejupielādei bezmaksas.

Eventhough that isn’t so much compared to Microsoft Windows, more and more users are choosing Apple products over Microsoft. Author will explore OS X desktop application development and main problems concerning web interface of a popular issue tracking software JIRA. These problems can be addressed creating a desktop application. Having researched theoretical material the author will create desktop application, which will serve as a client for JIRA’s web interface. Application’s main goal is to address JIRA’s web interface problems and to simplify issue trackers usage. After development, the application shall be put in Mac App Store where it can be downloaded for free.
