Abstract
Bakalaura darbā „Industrializācijas pēctecības Grīziņkalna ainavā” raksturota Krievijas impērijas perioda industrializācijas ietekme uz vēsturiskā Rīgas strādnieku rajona Grīziņkalna turpmāko attīstību un mūsdienu ainavu.
Pētījums tika veikts, izmantojot pēctecīguma teorijas pieeju ainavu analīzei, meklējot pēctecīgumu telpiskajās struktūrās, praksēs un nozīmēs (simbolos). Tika veiktas vietas studijas, veicot lauka darbus (detalizētu Grīziņkalna apsekošanu, novērojumus, intervijas) un pielietojot kamerālās metodes (kartogrāfiskā materiāla, sekundāro datu analīze), kas ļāva iegūt gan kvalitatīvus, gan kvantitatīvus datus.

Bachelor thesis „Footprints of Rīga's industrialization in the landscape of Grīziņkalns” studies the influence of Rīga’s 19th century industrialization on the following urban development in Grīziņkalns, the former working-class neighbourhood, and how it may be perceived in contemporary cityscape. The footprints are analysed by their emergence and location. In the framework of path-dependence analysis, the path-dependency as spatial structures, practices and meanings is examined in Grīziņkalns by field works (surveying of structures, observations of specific practices and interviewing) and analysis and interpretation of cartographic materials and secondary data sources. Key words: 19th century industrialization, post-industrial landscape, working-class neighbourhoods, path-dependence analysis
