Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir Ksavjē Dolana (Xavier Dolan) kino stils. Pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot Ksavjē Dolana kino stilu raksturojošās iezīmes. Darba problēma ir Ksavjē Dolana unikālas kino stila iezīmes. Teorētiskajā daļā tiek aplūkoti kino valodas elementi, kino naratīvs, mākslas kino (art cinema) attīstība, tostarp autorkino un franču jaunais vilnis. Papildus teorijai sniegta informācija par Ksavjē Dolana biogrāfiju. Pētījums tiek veikts, izmantojot semiotisko un naratīva analīzi. Bakalaura darba pētniecības lauks aptver Ksavjē Dolana režisētās filmas laika posmā no 2009. līdz 2016. gadam. Iegūtie rezultāti ataino galvenās Ksavjē Dolana kino naratīvu un kino valodas elementus raksturojošās iezīmes.

The theme of the Bachelor paper is „The film style of Xavier Dolan”. The aim of the research is to find out the main elements of Xavier Dolan’s film style. The research problem of the Bachelor paper is unique elements of Xavier Dolan film style. The theoretical part includes film language elements, film narrative, art cinema, auteur theory and French New Wave. In addition, the paper contains information about biography of Xavier Dolan. The chosen research methods are semiotic and narrative analysis. Bachelor paper research field is Xavier Dolan movies, directed in the period from 2009 to 2016. The results of the research represents the main elements of Xavier Dolan’s film narrative and film language.
