Abstract
Dana Lasmane. Diplomdarbs par tēmu: „Vēderdejotājas vizuālais attēlojums Rietumu
un Austrumu kultūrā”, Latvijas Universitāte, Rīga, 2009.
Darbs veikts grafiskā dizaina nozarē. Diplomdarba autore veiks padziļinātu literatūras
analīzi par deju, dejas valodu, vēderdeju vēsturi, vēderdeju stiliem, vēderdeju tērpiem, papildus
meklējot literatūru par mākslas valodas vizuālā attēla radīšanas principiem un simboliem, gan
korporatīvās identitātes grafisko dizainu, kā arī reklāmu un reklāmas plakāta vēsturi.
Tika vākti, sistematizēti un pētīti vēderdejotājas vizuālie attēlojumi no 18. – 20.
gadsimtam. Empīriskajā daļā hipotētiskais jautājums tiek izvirzīts „Vai un kā gadsimtu laikā
mainās vēderdejotājas vizuālais vēstījums vizuālajos materiālos. Izvirzītais hipotētiskais
jautājums tiek apstiprināts, ka vēderdejotājas vizuālais vēstījums mainās līdz ar 1925. g. uz
ekrāniem rādīto filmu „Salammbô” tā vairs nebija tikai sieviete, kas izpildīja vēderdeju, bet tā
jau bija kļuvusi par seksuālas iekāres objektu, kura beigās publikai sevi atklāja pilnīgi kailu.
Tiek izstrādāts diplomdarba gala produkts – deju studijai ”Sausan” korporatīvā
identitāte. Korporatīvo identitāti veidos deju studijas „Sausan” stila grāmata.

Diploma author carried out an in-depth literary analysis of the dance, dance language, bellydance history, bellydance styles, bellydance clothing, in addition to searching for literature on the visual language of art image creation principles and symbols, corporate identity of graphic design, advertising and promotional poster history. It was collected, systematized and studied bellydancer visual representations of 18. - 20. century. Secondary part the hypothetical question is raised "Whether and how centuries bellydancers changing the visual message of visual materials. The hypothetical question is confirm that bellydancers visual message change with 1925. year on-screen film "Salammbô" it was no longer just a woman who executed bellydance, but it had already become an object of sexual desire, at the end of which the public has revealed himself completely naked.
